Do Smeg washing machines have a Quick wash programme?

Smeg washing machines feature a Quick wash programme which ranges from 15 to 40 minutes depending on the model. The option is particularly useful for light loads or low temperature washes (30°C).

Can I put on a full drying load for 7kg washer-dryers?

The gross load capacity must always be divided in half for drying loads. Therefore, in a 7kg washer-dryer, the load must be 3-4kg each time depending on the specific programme you select.

What does the load weight in kilograms refer to ?

The quantity in kilograms refers to the weight of dry cotton laundry items.

What's the best way to clean my Smeg stainless steel washing machine ?

We recommend using special Smeg cleaning products, such as the XSPLEND-2  detergent spray and the PAMI-1 microfibre cloth. Never clean the appliance using abrasive cloths or aggressive detergents such as bleach, ammonia or alcohol, as this could leave permanent marks on the surface.

What should I do if my laundry is still wet at the end of the wash cycle ?

Your laundry may still be wet for various reasons. Check that a spin cycle was definitely selected and that a high enough spin speed was set for the type of laundry in question. Another possible cause could be a blocked filter (cleaning required) or blocked drainage pump.
